A Rome Fiumicino airport to Naples transfer takes you from the arrivals hall straight to your hotel, Napoli Centrale station or the port of Naples in one private car. Many long-haul flights to southern Italy land in Rome, not Naples, and the trip on from Fiumicino usually means a train into Rome, a change at Termini and a second train south, all with your suitcases. With a driver it is a single drive of about two and a half to three hours in normal traffic, around the Rome ring road and then south on the A1 motorway through Lazio and Campania.
Long flights are often late. Send your flight number when you book and the driver follows the real landing time, not the scheduled one. When you come out of baggage reclaim, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name, helps with the bags and walks you to the car. If passport control or the baggage belt is slow, a quick WhatsApp message is enough.
Tell us how many people are travelling and how many suitcases you have, so the car has room for everything, and ask for child seats or boosters if you need them; they are available on request. On a drive this long, a coffee and toilet stop at a motorway service area is normal: just ask the driver. In Naples you are dropped at the door of your hotel, or at the nearest point a car can reach in the historic centre. Going on to Capri, Ischia or Procida?
